Questions
Is the coffee any good, or is it the bag that is the point?
Both. The blends are roasted for us and chosen to be worth drinking on their own; the label is what makes a bag of them yours. A gift that is only a joke gets drunk once.
How fresh is it?
Roasted after you order and packed the same day, with a one-way valve in the seam so it can breathe out without letting air back in. Best in the first month, and still good well past that.
Whole bean or ground?
Whole bean unless you ask otherwise. Coffee goes stale from the surface inwards, so a whole bean keeps for weeks where a ground one keeps for days. If you have no grinder, say so and we will grind it for a filter.
What happens to my photo?
It is printed on the label and nowhere else. The design is composed the moment you approve it, so what we print is the picture you signed off rather than something reworked afterwards.
When can I order one for real?
Not yet. The cart and checkout work so the shape of the offer can be judged, but the payment is simulated and nothing is produced. We would rather show you the real thing late than a rendering early. The payments policy says exactly what does and does not happen when you check out.
